I thought the only thing that Belgium was memorable for was beer and chocolates. Balthazar sung this song at a concert in January 2014 and proved that musical anthems can come out of Kortrijk.

This was the song that inspired me to start the blog. Mew are a band from Denmark that were formed 20 years ago (1994). It took me till 2014 to hear this track, a track that was released in 2003. There is so much more of Mew t enjoy, 6 albums to be precise. However, this track will remain the anthem that started my blog journey

I saw this artist at Exit 2012 and he left a lasting impression with the two different styles of music. one being the Soul genre and the second being Hip Hop. This song brings the theme of the 2011 riots in Britain to the forefront of his music. Some meaningful and direct lyrics
